Yeah so the title says it all. We had to rush out and get a pumpkin 2 weeks ago and then stalled. We have been meaning to carve it but I swear we are so busy (I literally have a full schedule almost every day) that before we knew it, it was Halloween. So we got on it last night. It honestly is the worse pumpkin we have ever carved. We're tossing it up to being in a hurry! But the kids had fun and that's really all that matters...Trick or Treating update once we get home tonight! Hope everyone has a safe and fun night!

The final product!
Wednesday night Julianna had parent observation at her dance class! They are working on Frosty the Snowman for the winter recital! Since I am the stage mom I had to make goodie bags for the observation, I got some really cute pumpkin bags and filled them with Monkey Mix (recipe from John & Kate Plus 8) and Rice Krispy Treats. The kids loved them! As I've stated before Julianna could not be more thrilled with dance class. The teacher says she is just a joy to have in class, dancing and SINGING the whole time! I'm so glad she enjoys it so much. After 2 years of therapy (which she does not enjoy so much) it's nice to see her do something she actually likes!
Julianna ready to go! She seriously wants to get dressed hours before she needs to!
Julianna's class! They are the sweetest group of little girls and I've really come to love their mom's too! It's a 45 minute gab fest! The cute little black girl in the picture was adopted, she almost died twice as an infant (her birth mother was on drugs the whole pregnancy). The family that adopted her is a white couple, who have now adopted 3 more racial children (a black/white 1 year old, a Mexican 2 year old and a black 2 week old boy who is absolutely adorable)! They are such an inspiration and it such a great reminder that love really is color blind! There is also a little Chinese girl Ming in her class who speaks English/Chinese! She has been teaching Julianna some new words! I think it is so important for my kids to be around different cultures and I'm so glad I found this neat diverse group of friends for her!
